Who we are.
Idealkapital was founded in 2020 as an advisory business for the SME market, operational advisory work for small and mid-sized companies. Over time the firm evolved into a focused investment company with a more opportunistic approach. We invest across asset classes, in both listed and unlisted opportunities. We are sector-agnostic. The only filter is whether it is a good business at the wrong price.

We take positions because we believe in the case. We engage with the companies we invest in through dialogue, clear expectations and a long-term perspective.
We are sector-agnostic and instrument-agnostic. Equities, credit, real estate, listed or private. Every part of the balance sheet is relevant. What matters is whether the business is good and the price is wrong.
When capital is not used productively, we believe it should be addressed through dialogue with the board and management. When we believe things can be done better, we are clear about it. That is not confrontation, it is ownership.
